Grand Opening of the Hino Facility

To mark the special event were Hino Motors Executive, Vice-President and board member, Mr. Kunihiko Susuki, Hino Motors Group Manager Mr. Akira Harigaya, along with Borneo Motors CEO Mr. William Tsui and Borneo Motors Managing Director Mr. Mark Choong.

With upcoming plans to introduce Hino’s extensive range of trucks, prime movers and buses to the local market, this partnership will definitely bring about a heightened level of success here in Singapore.

 
Borneo Motors (S) Pte Ltd 2006 Scholarship Award Ceremony

On 23rd February 2006, 10 Institute of Technical Education (ITE) students received $1,000 scholarships each at ITE Ang Mo Kio Theatrette. These award recipients are students from the Automotive Engineering Course in ITE Ang Mo Kio and ITE Balestier. They were short listed after interviews by our Human Resource and Training and Service Departments in Borneo Motors.

After the prize presentation, management staffs from Borneo Motors as well as parents of the award recipients were invited to tour around their automobile workshop. The workshop is spacious with many cars and equipments, giving the students a good ground to practice and build foundation.

Congratulation to all scholarship recipients! This is no doubt a proud moment for the recipients, their families, teachers and Institute. Borneo Motors is honored to be able to contribute towards the recipients’ education in automotive engineering.

We believe that all the recipients who already have a strong foundation in the automotive engineering field, are poised to take on exciting career opportunities in the dynamic automotive industry where there will be ample opportunities for them to display their innovation, creativity and problem-solving skills.
