Launch of the All New Camry

The Internal Seminar and Press Conference for the All New Camry was held at Ritz Carlton Millenia on Tuesday, 26th September 2006. On the evening of 27th September 2006, close to 600 invited VIPs, guests and owners of the All New Camry joined us in the Launch Party at our Leng Kee Toyota Showroom. We were honoured to have Mr. William Tsui, Mr. Mark Choong, Mr. Yasuyuki
Kawamoto (Chief Engineer of the all-new Camry) and Mr. Shigeru Takayanagi to unveil the All New Camry. Our guests were also treated to a “live” jazz band and a scrumptious buffet dinner. It was an eventful night and the launch was a great success. To view the All new Toyota Camry, click here

Launch of the All New Lexus LS 460

The All New Lexus LS 460 made its grand entrance at the Shangri-La Hotel, Island Ballroom on Wednesday, 25 October 2006. The Press Conference was held in the morning, followed by the Gala Launch Party in the evening. We were pleased to have Mr. Moritaka Yoshida, the Chief Engineer of the All New Lexus LS 460 with us to unveil the car.

More than 800 invited VIPs, guests and owners of the All New Lexus LS 460 joined us in the Gala Party at the Shangri-La Hotel, Island Ballroom.

The event opened to high notes of a soprano and a live ballet performance. Entertaining our guests were musical pieces by a harpist and singers, Danielle and Ryan from Australia’s “Hello Broadway”. 6 models, including celebrity model Junita Simon, were also present to take pictures of the All New Lexus LS 460 with our customers. It was a delightful evening for the guests indeed.

Singapore Motorshow 2006

The 8th Singapore Motorshow 2006 ended last Sunday, 19 November 2006. Toyota had successfully put together automotive displays for the eighth biennial show that had surpassed all visitors’ expectations.

Showcasing 14 Toyota cars and 8 Lexus cars, both Toyota and Lexus booth were overwhelmed with eagerly anticipating visitors. The main attraction is the showcase of our concept car, Fine-S and the All New Camry. This year, we also have the true replica of the actual F1 car that raced on the tracks in Australia, USA, Spain, Japan and most recently in China.

During weekends, many events were lined up around the Toyota booth. There were dance performances and car presentations by our very own Toyota models, stage games, a comedy magic show, silt walkers giving away Toyota balloons and many more. These gave our visitors a tinge of fun while they were at our booth.

Grand Opening of the Hino Facility

On 23rd June 2006, it was the official opening of Hino Showroom and Service Centre in Marsiling. To mark the special event were Hino Motors Executive, Vice-President and board member, Mr. Kunihiko Susuki, Hino Motors Group Manager Mr. Akira Harigaya, along with Borneo Motors CEO Mr. William Tsui and Borneo Motors Managing Director Mr. Mark Choong.
With upcoming plans to introduce Hino's extensive range of trucks, prime movers and buses to the local market, this partnership will definitely bring about a heightened level of success here in Singapore.

All New Lexus IS 250

The all new Lexus IS 250 made its grand entrance on 16 March 2006 at Ritz Carlton Millenia Grand Ballroom. The Press Conference was held in the morning, followed by the Gala Launch Party in the evening where over 1,500 invited VIPs, guests and Lexus owners attended.

There were 8 models including celebrity model, Wendy Jacobs, to take pictures of the all new IS 250 with our customers. They were presented with a polariod picture instantly.

The guests present had an enjoyable night at our launch and we believe the all new IS 250 is going to be one of the hottest selling cars in its category!

Yaris Launch

On 24 February 2006, the all-new Toyota Yaris was launched in Singapore. It was an exciting day filled with lots of activities. In the morning, we had the Internal Seminar for our Toyota Sales Engineers. At 11am, the Press conference on the new Toyota Yaris for our media friends. In the evening of the very same day, a gala launch for the all-new Yaris was held at our very own Lee Keng Toyota Showroom.

Toyota Yaris represents the Y-generation with its stylish design, outstanding performance, and peace of mind safety features, generous space and fun zippy drive. To introduce this unique and stylish, the Internal Seminar for our Sales Engineers and Press Conference for the journalists were held at Red Dot Design Museum, a hip place, where the Yaris certainly feels right at home in.

We are pleased to have Mr. Junichi Furuyama, the Chief Engineer of the all new Toyota Yaris present with us at Red Dot as well as our showroom to celebrate the launch.

In the evening, we have the honor of Mr. Mark Choong, Mr. Junichi Furuyama and Mr. Shigeru Takayanagi as our VIPs to unveil the all-new Yaris. There was also an energetic performance by the popular Magnum Force cheerleaders (graduates from Ngee Ann Polytechnic), where they hyped the whole atmosphere, cheering and dancing while the star of the evening is being unveiled for all to see.

The launch was a great success and Toyota believes the stylish and fun Yaris is worthy of representing its next-generation global vehicles.
